[Palworld Diary] Hartalis Raid(Normal)

With the latest update, the Pal that became a huge topic was Hartalis, and I really wanted to get it.
Its stats are great, but honestly—it’s just beautiful.
I looked up some strategies and jumped straight into breeding Bastigor.
The advice I found said that Ultimate difficulty is hard even for veterans, but Normal can be cleared fairly easily with Bastigor alone.

After grinding for several days, I ended up with 40 Bastigors.
- Stats: 100
- Passives: Lunker, Legend, Demon God, Serenity
- Soul Enhancement: Completed on only 1 Pal
Just in case, I also prepared Frostallion, Shadowbeak, Azurmane and Dark-type Frostallion.
As for food, I only gave attack-boosting meals to the 40 Bastigors and 일부 of the Frostallion and Shadowbeak.
At first, I sent in only the Bastigors.
The damage looked solid, so I thought it was going smoothly—but they started dying before Phase 1 even ended.
So I rushed in reinforcements:
- Frostallion, Azurmane and Shadowbeak + endgame Pals: 2 Jormuntide, 1 Blazamut, 1 Shadowbeak, and 1 Jetragon
In Normal difficulty, Hartalis uses Purifying Light only once, right before dying
(In Ultimate difficulty, it’s definitely not just once…).

That skill wiped out most of my Pals, but a few survived by sheer luck.
I was also flying in the air at the time and survived as well—so the raid cleared immediately after that.
Barely, but cleared.

Looking at the survivors, they were exactly who you’d expect:
Jormuntide, Jetragon, Blazamut, Shadowbeak, and Binghou Ogre —
fully endgame Pals with Soul Enhancement already completed.

If you want a stable Xenolord raid,
it’s pretty clear that every participating Pal needs Soul Enhancement.
But doing that in a short period of time basically means
you have to live inside the game.
I’ve cleared the Hartalis raid twice now and already bred one fully optimized endgame Hartalis.
Hehehe.

After actually taking it out for a spin, my takeaway is this:
the skills Hartalis uses feel much better suited for raids or tower bosses than for regular field combat.
