[Palworld Diary] The Journey of Breeding Pals

작성일: 2026-01-03 · 카테고리: palworld

Let me introduce the breeding method I use. Today’s goal is Finsider Ignis.

I’m aiming to breed a Finsider Ignis with 100 IVs and a perfect passive skill set: Legend, Serenity, Lunker, and Demon God.

1.Recommended World Settings

If you are a working professional who lacks free time or gets stressed by long, repetitive tasks, I highly recommend adjusting your World Settings as follows:

  • Night Time Speed: 5

→ Unless they have the “Nocturnal” trait, Pals go to sleep at night, which slows down the egg-laying process. By maxing out this setting, night passes almost instantly, keeping your breeding farm efficient.

  • Time (h) to incubate Massive Egg: 0

→ You might have to hatch thousands of eggs to get the perfect result. Who has the time to wait for every single one? Set this to 0 so they hatch the moment you place them in the incubator.

2.Preparations Beyond World Settings

(1) Cake Production Environment

In Palworld, cakes are essential for breeding, so you must optimize your environment to produce them as quickly as possible. This involves setting up a system for a rapid supply of ingredients like eggs and milk. For example, you could dedicate an entire base specifically to ranching.

*My Setup: 2 Breeding Bases + 1 dedicated Ranching Base.

(2) Ranch Layout

To push breeding efficiency to the absolute limit, some players stack their ranches like towers. However, building that is quite a hassle, and it makes picking up eggs very tedious. Instead, I chose a flat layout (placing them on the ground) for better accessibility.

(3) Maxing out Galeclaw (Condensation)

If you decide to go with a standard flat layout like mine, I highly recommend maxing out a Galeclaw through Pal Condensation beforehand. A fully condensed Galeclaw significantly boosts the player’s movement speed while gliding, making the repetitive task of moving around the base much faster and more efficient.

(4) Maxing out Braloha

If you place a fully condensed Braloha at your base, the egg production speed increases even further.

3.Creating a Finsider Ignis with Perfect 100 Stats

(1) First, obtain two Finsider through either fishing or breeding. (I personally recommend catching them at the Large Fish Pond that you can build at your base.)

(2) Apply the “Philanthropist” and “Nocturnal” traits to both Pals using the Operating Table.

*The Operating Table can be unlocked at Technology Level 36.

*Philanthropist increases breeding speed, and Nocturnal allows Pals to work through the night without sleeping—both are essential passives for maximizing efficiency.

(3) Breed the two together and fill all your Breeding Farms with Finsider Ignis couples. (Make sure to apply Philanthropist and Nocturnal to all of them.)

(4) Place an Egg Incubator between each Breeding Farm to minimize your character’s movement. (This makes the process much less tedious.)

(5) As you continue breeding, you will eventually get Pals with higher stats. When they appear, don’t miss them—immediately replace the current Pals in the farm with these high-stat versions to increase the probability of getting perfect stats.

(6) If you keep repeating this process without worrying about passive skills for now, you will notice the stats gradually increasing over time.

*If you get stats like 80 or 90 that are just a bit short of perfection, another option is to use items to boost them to 100.

(7) All 100s (100, 100, 100) — Mission Accomplished!

4.Obtaining the Required Passive Skills

To get the passive skills you want, there are four main methods: purchasing Implants, fishing, using Yakumo, or catching Pals in the wild.

  • Purchasing Implants: The Implants available from merchants only provide common passives. You won’t find the ones I’m looking for, such as Legend, Lunker, or Demon God, through this method.
  • Fishing: You can obtain passives by catching fish with purple or green glowing pillars of light. However, since the results are random, it’s difficult to get what you need immediately unless you’ve been fishing consistently.
  • Catching Pals: This method faces similar challenges due to the high degree of randomness.
  • Using Yakumo: Among all these options, using Yakumo offers the highest probability of success.

(1) Obtaining a Gobfin Ignis with “Demon God” using Yakumo

My fully condensed Yakumo already has the following passives: Demon God, Diamond Body, and Vampire.

The advantage of using Yakumo is that if you capture a Pal while riding it or having it summoned, there is a higher probability that the captured Pal will inherit those specific passives. Using this method, I successfully captured a Gobfin Ignis with the Demon God passive.

Now, the next step is to find a Finsider. Specifically, I need to obtain a Finsider with both the Legend and Lunker passives. Once I have it, I can breed it with my Gobfin Ignis to produce a Finsider Ignis that carries all three passives.

*Breeding Formula: Gobfin Ignis + Finsider = Finsider Ignis

(2) Obtaining a Finsider with “Legend” and “Lunker”

Finsider can also be obtained through fishing or breeding. Getting the Legend and Lunker passives required quite a bit of effort… After digging through my Pal Box and checking various breeding combinations, I finally found the solution!

*Purple Slime + Gloopie (with Lunker) = Finsider with Lunker

I had previously caught a Gloopie with the Lunker passive while fishing, and I’m so glad I kept it in storage. It turned out to be the key piece for this build.

So, I’ve secured Lunker. Now, it’s time for “Legend.”

While I’ve often seen the Lunker passive through fishing, the probability of getting Legend from fishing is… well, let’s just say I’ve never seen it happen. So, I went back to searching my Pal Box, filtering specifically for the Legend trait.

And there it was—a Shroomer Noct with “Legend”!

This was the moment all my hard work paid off, as I had previously bred this Shroomer Noct specifically to carry over legendary passives for future use.

*Tip: It’s always a good idea to use the four Legendary Pals to create “bridge” Pals (like my Shroomer Noct) that inherit the Legend passive.

*The Four Legendary Pals: Frostallion, Paladius, Jetragon, and Necromus.

The final combination for this step:

*Cattiva + Shroomer Noct (with Legend) = Gobfin with Legend

*Gobfin + Chikipi = Finsider

Now, it’s time to combine the Legend and Lunker passives.

*Finsider (Lunker) + Finsider (Legend) = Finsider with both Legend and Lunker

(3) Creating a Finsider Ignis with Legend, Lunker, and Demon God

Now, it’s time to bring together all the Pals I’ve worked so hard to prepare and finally breed the Finsider Ignis.

*Gobfin Ignis (Demon God) + Finsider (Legend, Lunker) = Finsider Ignis with Legend, Lunker, and Demon God

(4) The Ultimate “End-game” Finsider Ignis

Now, it’s time to bring back the 100 Finsider Ignis that I prepared at the very beginning.

*Finsider Ignis (100) + Finsider Ignis (Legend, Lunker, Demon God) = The Ultimate End-game Finsider Ignis

5.Wrapping Up

Creating an “End-game” Pal is such a long and grueling journey… It might be manageable if you only needed one, but the real challenge is that you also have to fully condense them. Plus, Finsider Ignis has a unique synergy where they buff each other’s stats, meaning I have to build an entire team of them. 🙂 ….. haha. If you’re lucky enough to have plenty of leftovers from the initial “100” grind, you’re in good shape. If not? Well, it’s back to infinite breeding until you have enough for that Max Condensation.

I’ve repeated this entire process every time I’ve aimed for a perfect Pal. Honestly, if I had tried to do this without adjusting the World Settings… just the thought of it is terrifying. Ugh.
