[Palworld Diary] Dogcoin Farming

It all started with the “Mysterious Accessory Box” sold by the merchant at “Forgotten Island Church Ruins.”
You spend one Dogcoin to unlock one slot, and if you want to unlock all accessory slots, you need a total of 1,100 Dogcoins.

I thought I’d been picking up Dogcoins whenever I saw them…

but when I checked, I only had 750 … so the grind begins.

Dogcoins do drop from random junk piles scattered around the map… but the guaranteed source is catching the Pal “Mimog.”

The problem? Finding that Pal is a major pain.

They’re spread all over the world, disguised as treasure chests, so it’s basically a giant hidden-object game.

I mainly hunted them at “Crescent Moon Lakeside”.

Before hunting Mimog, the first thing you need to do is… tweak the world settings(…)

Turn the Pal Spawn Rate to the maximum, and get Katress ready.

If you have Katress-Full Concentration, it increases your drop item yield !

Some people said Mimog are everywhere in the volcanic zone, but maybe it’s different per server…

For me, I saw only one in the volcanic area.
99% of them were at Crescent Moon Lakeside.

If you can spot the Mimog in the picture above, you’ve got what it takes! It looks just like a treasure chest without any glow.

I wandered over mountains and across rivers… circling around everywhere. I even checked other regions just in case, but couldn’t find a single one, so I ended up visiting Crescent Moon Lakeside every day.

You have to one-shot these guys no matter what. If you hit them even slightly off-center, the bolt in a split second. I even found one in the river that I orginally struck on land.

Phew…

After all that grinding, I finally collected 1,100 Dogcoins and ran straight to the merchant at Forgotten Island Church Ruins to buy the slots.

Seriously… I never want to do that grind again.
